    REQUIEM FOR A C.H.U.D. Wins Best Makeup, FX, 2nd place Audience Choice
    REQUIEM FOR A C.H.U.D, a short film Kryshan produced for this year's Bloodshots horror competition, was voted Best Makeup and FX and came in second place for the Audience Choice Award. The film has been invited to the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival where JACK had its premiere and is currently being recut for its festival run.

    JACK Sold To Shorts International For Worldwide Distribution Including iTunes, US Theatrical release, Shorts HD Channel, VOD
    JACK has been picked up by Shorts International, primary distributor of short films for iTunes. Their plan includes releasing the short via iTunes in over 23 countries; broadcasting JACK on their ShortsHD channel in Taiwan, Turkey, France and the United States; including JACK as part of their upcoming video on demand release; and a theatrical release across the United States.

    DREAM GREEN Lipdub Video Online
    DREAM GREEN, an environmental lipdub music video which Kryshan co-directed with Ivan Mak, is now online and can be viewed here. The video, in which hundreds of elementary and high school students showcase their environmental efforts as the Red camera Steadicams throughout an entire school, was created in partnership with BioCYCLE and Pull Focus Film School.

    Kryshan completed directing principal photography in Germany for the second episode of the web series LIBELLE (formerly DRAGONFLY), an environmental action series produced by Julia Dordel and Anita Reimer with additional support from the David Suzuki Foundation.     ARTLESS PSA Goes Viral
    ARTLESS, a 30 second PSA created to fight B.C's proposed 92% funding cuts, is now online here. ARTLESS has received thousands of hits since its YouTube premiere a few days ago, and has been spotlighted on the Facebook and Twitter pages of many of BC's top entertainers. It is currently being screened in classrooms, movie theatres and TV stations across the province.

    JACK wins Grand Jury Prize
    JACK won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2009 Bloodshots competition, judged by Dan O'Bannon (creator/writer of ALIEN, writer of TOTAL RECALL, writer/director of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD). O'Bannon acclaimed the film's effective blend of humor and horror. The new cut of JACK was also completed today and being submitted for a 2010 festival run.

    GLIMPSE wins A & E Short Filmmakers Award
    GLIMPSE has been awarded the National Screen Institute's $2,500 A & E Short Filmmakers Award, which recognizes outstanding works in the NSI Online Short Film Festival. "Glimpse's universal story of break-up with an almost science fiction twist permitted the short drama, great comedy and a "Will She Find 'The One?'" hook. With strong performances, great directing, interesting visual devices and a complete story, Glimpse rose to number one for us quite quickly and easily," said the jury, who were unanimous in their decision.
